LONGi Showcases Extensive Portfolio of Innovative Solutions at Intersolar South America

LONGi has taken part in the 2023 edition of Intersolar South America, Latin America’s largest exhibition for the solar industry, displaying its latest cutting-edge products.

Among highlights in terms of products on display designed to cater for the specific and varied requirements of its LATAM clientele were the new 2382 x 1134mm version of the company’s Hi-MO 7 product and the Hi-MO 6 Explorer module.

Regarding the former, LATAM product solution manager Daniel Mesquita commented: ‘Through the optimization of high-quality silicon wafers, cells and module packaging design, Hi-MO 7 offers a linear power warranty with an annual degradation rate of just 0.4%.’

The Hi-MO 6 Explorer attracted significant attention at the exhibition, with product manager for the Americas Karen Melo explaining: ‘Hi-MO 6 pioneers the utilization of full back welding technology, significantly enhancing module resistance to micro cracking.’ The Hi-MO 6 series includes the ‘Explorer’, ‘Scientist’, ‘Guardian’, and ‘Artist’ products, each designed for different user scenarios and combining advanced technology with pleasing aesthetics.

Other products on display were the ALK Hi1, the latest alkaline water electrolyzer addition to LONGi’s range of green hydrogen solutions. Recognised for a combination of high performance and quality, a single unit of the ALK Hi1 can achieve a maximum gas production of 1500 Nm³/h, its innovative alkaline bath design effectively reducing the overall system cost of hydrogen production. During a presentation, key account manager Corentin Vallee stated that LONGi Hydrogen’s annual production capacity will reach 2.5GW by the end of 2023.
